He gazed at me with his big brown eyes & cocked one eyebrow in question as he reached across the dinner table for my hand.

The instant we touched, I felt electrified; my breath caught in my chest & my heart skipped a beat.

The other diners around us faded into the background; the clanking of silverware on china & the murmur of other conversations muted.


I sipped my wine & licked my lips, then took a shallow breath, & gave him my best “come hither” look from beneath my eye lashes.

He straightened in his seat, moaned under his breath & flagged down our waiter.

“Check, please!”

  4. A steamy dinner date for sure, and you wrote it so well, that we could sense the electricity in the air… great job, just enough but not too much! I loved it!
