As usual, if you need to clue into what this “On Purpose” series is all about, click here to read the introductory post.
In quite the contrast to last week, I am feeling quite accomplished this week.
By the time I got round to finishing getting the spare room cleaned out, the handsome husband had already done it. I am not sure if he was sick of waiting for me to do it or if he was just trying to pick up some of the slack since I need to adjust to my school & homework schedule. . . Either way, it was greatly appreciated. I know how lucky I am to have him; I love him so much.
I am through my first week back to college & slightly ahead on my homework & reading, which I intend to make the norm. I had my school bag packed up & organized for my first day of classes & by the next class day (I only attend face-to-face classes two days per week, even though I have a full-time class-load), I was able to eliminate some of the “extras” that I didn’t really need to be lugging around with me & I felt that much more efficient.
Lastly, I have been using my Durezol eye drops fairly consistently, but I did also make an appointment with a different local ophthalmologist. The appointment is this coming week & will hopefully be the ophthalmologist I am able to stick with for the long-run. The gal I spoke with did say, however, that if my uveitis is too severe, the ophthalmologist might still refer me to a different ophthalmologist that specializes in my condition, so, again, we will see. . .
The intent this next week is to build on the momentum I have built up last week, so, here is what I plan to accomplish, on purpose this next week:
- I will catch up on the housework that I’ve gotten a touch behind with this past week, (namely, the dishes, the laundry, & the two bathrooms). They aren’t looking completely horrible, but they all need some extra attention so they don’t get to that point.
- I will get all my school work done that is due this coming week & maintain a pace on it that keeps me ahead of schedule by two days to a week, (as I am currently).
- There is a blogging challenge that someone in one of my blogging groups has recently shared. I will take a closer look at its parameters & form a plan to participate on some level or another.
Now, it’s YOUR turn! Tell me what you need to be more purposeful about in your life this week.
